The archaeological site of Moray is a set of semi-circular terraces that represent different ecological levels, which have different microclimates, so it is believed that Moray was an agricultural laboratory for the adaptation of different crops such as potatoes, corn, quinoa, oca, etc.

Near Moray is the salt mines of Maras, made up of thousands of natural salt wells that were formed millions of years ago and formed part of the diet of the locals for thousands of years and even today is used for local and regional consumption.

The archaeological center of Chinchero was an important urban center that we can still appreciate today around its church and plaza.
