The tour will start with the pick up at your place of accommodation in Cusco from 4:00 a.m. to 4:30 a.m. In approximately 2 hours you will arrive at Mollepata, where you can take a break for breakfast and buy snacks for the hike.
The trip will continue for 1 hour until reaching Soraypampa. Arriving at this high plateau you will be able to admire the splendid Apu Salkantay mountains at 6,230 meters above sea level.
After a brief time to prepare your belongings, you will begin the 2-hour hike to Humantay Lake at 5,250 meters above sea level. The road is usually steep, but you can take your time to enjoy the ride.
Upon arrival at Humantay you will enjoy the stunning view of this glacial lake of turquoise waters, you can choose to climb over the lake to the right or left to enjoy a panoramic view.
Then you will return downhill for 1 hour to Soraypampa, your private transportation will be waiting for you to return to Mollepata where you can enjoy a delicious local lunch.
At the end of lunch you will return to Cusco near the Plaza de Armas at approximately 6:00 pm.
